Beef ‘O’Brady’s: In 1985, Jim Mellody dreamed up the idea of a family friendly restaurant, a neighborhood pub where friends and families could gather to enjoy good food and sports in a fun, comfortable atmosphere. Together, with his wife Jeanette, they embellished the Brady family name and created the now-famous Beef 'O' Brady's®. Their first sports bar and grill opened in Brandon, Florida. The regulars quickly nicknamed it "Beef's®." Inspired by a love of sports, Jim filled his restaurant with TVs and satellite dishes so patrons could enjoy watching a vast array of sporting events. He also covered the walls with authentic sports memorabilia he had collected through the years.
As a final touch, he made sure a traditional Irish Blessing graced every menu, bidding good fortune and happy times to all who visited. As the Beef's® story grew, so too did the menu. It was important to Jim that guests have variety (like the award-winning wings available in 12 signature sauces) as well as signature favorites with an Irish twist. Today, Beef 'O' Brady's® is one of the fastest growing kid friendly restaurants in the country. Some call it the "Luck of the Irish." Jim would call it a darn good dream that took a lot of hard work.

City Bar: City Bar’s rich history began in 1939 when Charlie and Anna Watson opened the now historic bar. Many in the community believed the bar wouldn’t last because its location on Seventh Street was too far away from downtown businesses, but the Watsons' ultimately proved critics wrong. Business boomed as the bar’s pre-prohibition Brunswick back bar, which Charlie had salvaged from the Great Falls Hotel, drew in customers. Bob and Bill Watson, sons of Charlie and Anna, took over management of the bar for their parents in the 1950s. The building has since doubled in size and was remodeled with oak floors and a stately 1800s vintage “Radiant Estate” nickel-plated wood burning stove was installed to expand the bar’s ambiance. The City Bar prides itself on its long-running traditions and history. Our bartenders still retain the tradition of wearing white shirts with ties, which has been a mainstay of the bar since its opening. In 1990 the Watson’s introduced lunchtime service and installed 20 poker and keno machines. Bill Watson’s son Brad and his wife Barb Watson along with their son Tanner, now currently run the bar, representing four generations of the Watson’s 80-year legacy.

The American Bar: The American Bar has been a piece of history in Stockett, Montana for over 103 years. The American Bar was a loud, thriving place when brothers Martin and Frank Ball opened in 1915. The high spot the bar sits on was at a bend in the road to avoid flooding. The American Bar has had a handful of owners since its start, but the atmosphere and history has been passed on. For many years Stockett was booming coal mining town until the Gulch coal mines were shut down in 1946. Though the town suffered a loss of people because there were no jobs, the American Bar still survived. Traditions of the past have been continued with the huge 3-inch sandwiches, made famous over 50 years ago by Pat Merva. Visitors to the American Bar will still be greeted with the two headed calf born on a local ranch (Kessnar Ranch) in 1963. The calf lived for approximately 15 minutes before passing. Kessnar decided to have the calf stuffed and mounted and it has been a staple in the bar ever since. The years keep passing but the bar still holds its place and history in the small Montana town of Stockett.
Open Wed-Sun at 11:30am, serving lunch and dinner.

Celtic Cowboy Pub and Restaurant: In 1890, Welsh immigrant Robert Vaugh, the first European settler in the county, who had become wealthy in the ranching business in the Sun River Valley outside of Great Falls, perceived a need in the downtown area for the “most advanced livery stable in the West.” This was the genesis of the Arvon Block, a playful take on his name… Robert Vaughn… R. Vaughn… Arvon. The building housed a livery stable, freight transfer office, teamster boarding house and green-grocer. Vaughn, who by that time had received the nickname “The Celtic Cowboy” by the press, would go on to become one of Great Falls’ earliest philanthropists and most prominent citizens. Fast-forward 126 years and we proudly bring you The Celtic Cowboy Pub and Restaurant and the Hotel Arvon, evoking the lively times of the past in what is now one of the very few remaining buildings from the early days of Great Falls. We hope to see you here!
